An example of this may be cis-woman who identifies as queer and feels comfortable with and presents characteristics more associated masculine gender role. A queer cis-man may also, for example, use this to differentiate them/himself from other masculine men, especially if he/they primarily dates women.
Not mutually exclusive to other identities.

e.g - The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Community Center threw a masquerade ball called MasQ on February, 9th 2019 in Brooklyn, NY.
