A blueberry is a berry that, despite it’s name, is not actually blue. It’s plural form (said when there is more than one blueberry) is blueberries. It is a, usually sweet, purple berry that is most popular in British Columbia, which is known for producing blueberries. Blueberries are native to North America and is therefore one of the only commercially-available fruits/berries. Blueberries also used to be called “star fruits” because of the star shape that is formed at the bottom of the blueberry.
