Twert

Originating from an idyllic area in the South West of England, Twerton, the term is used to describe a character who has a wardrobe consisting entirely of discounted sporting apparel and one ill-fitting suit from Burtons used for court appearances and regular family christenings (the result of cousins breeding like rabbits). Wears Lynx Africa but has an overpowering scent of stale Rich Tea biscuits. Thick as pig shit.

Rubpole

Abridged version of ‘Rubpole of the Baileys’. Defined as a woman in her 40s and above who gets amorous following consumption of sickly Irish liqueurs. Typically still a member of the Take That fan club, she will treat her husband to one off the wrist whilst thinking about Gary Barlow after a she’s sunk a bottle.
