A metaphorical opiate inhaled when you question whether your cat loves you as much as you do.

The effects of catium include, but are not limited to: extreme rationalizations for lack of affection portrayed by the cat or outlandish theories of humanizing the cat.

“Did you hear? Cats are just as affectionate as dogs!”
“Yes… and I hear you can play fetch with them too! Would you like some more catium?”
