The behavior of telling a story in response to someone trying to convey some information. Very often interrupting. Very often their story has very little to do with what you said. You are almost always one-upped.
In reality they didn't really listen to what you said.

- Guess what, I won the lottery...
- Ohmetoo, my mother used to have a neighbour that won the lottery I think.
