noun: a clingy male of which one is not interested in and who tries so much that he seems pathetic. may also be synonymous to homewrecker.

Person 1: Hey who's that who keeps calling you?
Person 2: Some shaunty, I think I'm just gonna drop him.

That guy around me? Naw... the kid's hella shaunty--he calls me just to ask me wsup when I tell him I'm in class!
