Brainrot is a word, sometimes a slang that means both somebody being very obsessed with a certain topic and decreasing said somebody's IQ.

Brainrotting guy: "brr skibidi dop dop yes yes yes"
Healthy guy: "Dude, you gotta quit watching that stupid animation series, what are you even gonna learn from that series?"
