music that baffles the listener in some way, (goofy samples, too much going on at once, confusing beat, etc.) so much so that they're taken out of the listening experience

producer 1: hey I wrote this beat last night. I thought it sounded good at the time but I think it might be penis music
producer 2: yeah it is a little bit. maybe lose the four simultaneous melodies in the chorus
producer 1: no dude it's polyphonic you just don't get it
