On the 23rd of December, everyone has to give a banana to a friend or stranger and say "do you want a banana", in reference to Tally Hall's "Banana Man".

Meghan: "I just remembered, it's Give a Banana day!" *gives banana* "Do you want a banana? This banana for you."
Carl: "Oh why thank you." *takes banana*

Popuelar is a shitpost that comments on a person's general audience. Usually used in one worded posts, popuelar is usually used to spam in message boards and chats by continuously saying "popuelar" to make other people join in.
