Grinchlighting

The act of making someone think they are being a Grinch, when you in fact are being quite Grinchy.

1. My girlfriend tried Grinchlighting me into thinking I was going to hell for not giving this kid one of our puppies. Come to find out, she knows him and also that he’s allergic to dogs!

2. Yo, I just donated $20 to the Salvation Army guy after he gave me a mean look on the way into Walmart. 5 minutes later I see him buy crack off my cousin with that same $20. I think I got Grinchlit.
