a form of friendship that is severely limited by one or both person's marital status, job title, etc.

Basically, it can only be so much.

I realized that my friendship with Joanna was going to have to be neutered when our boss told her husband about me.

Our neutered friendship is restricted to short chats between shifts.

punkbag

a cross between a punk and a dirtbag. You can imagine that this makes it extra smelly, and dirty as well.
