In the immortal words of Adam Savage:
“I reject your reality and substitute my own.”
They exist to subvert social norms often exhibiting strange or demeaning behavior in the eyes of society, but in their own minds the actions exist as a means to an end. They do not care about social ostracism and frequently are alone, don’t engage with relationships and prefer it to stay that way. They are surrounded by an air of superiority and tend to be the top dog in their own world, but in the eyes of others they are loud, inconsiderate, secluded and awkward. And that’s okay in their mind. As long as they believe they are on top, the methodology does not matter.
