an elmer is what you would call someone who was made fun of during their younger years, this would not be because of the crulty of the other students, but because the child in question had brought it upon himself. Brought on by strange behavior such as the consumption of glue (elmer refering to "Elmer's Glue").

Melvin was an elmer because of his strange habbit of eating crayons
