(n.) a thexcuse is the reason one gives for not working on one's thesis.

Zak: Hey, don't you have a bunch of work to do on your thesis? Are you gonna go to the library to work on it?

Hope: Nope, can't. It's dollar beer night at The Press.

Zak: That's a good thexcuse.
