HPOW

High Pitched Overwhelmed Whistle
An acronym used to represent the onomatopoeia to express how one feels after hearing information that is usually impressive or overwhelming. It is characterized by whistling at a high pitch and then descending to a lower pitch. (Not to be mistaken with a wolf whistle, which is a lewd call to females and consisting of two notes)
Typically used in chat settings.
Bill: So where are you going for college?

Ted: I got accepted into Harvard and Yale, so I have yet to decide.

Bill: HPOW
