jock

A derogatory term for the Scots. Has origins in World War 2; the Scottish version of the English Tommy was a Jock. Usually either a term of light hearted banter or abusive insult, depending on the context.

tinker's cuss 

Replaces the usual 'fuck' or 'damn' in the "I don't give a..." expression. Comes from old Irish slang, still used mainly in London.

I don't give a tinker's cuss what you think!

chavvie 

Old gypsy term for a newborn baby, or young child. Still sees some use in London slang.

Thought to be part of the origin of the word chav.
