dap

Noun: dap- a "fresh" handshake/greeting, evolved from the high 5. Often contact is made about chest high. There are many variations, including the "slide-hook" "slide-hook to chesty" or the traditional sideways high five at chest height.

Verb: to dap- to give someone daps* (see above)

Common Misconception- it is not "dats" it is daps

X- "yo bro dap me up"
