Any living creature with speckles. Most common are the speckled fleebeedo butterfly and the speckled budogg. They can be any color.

Budogg

Only the coolest dog ever. Especially if they are of the speckled fleebeedo type. They almost always have some dangerous flip ear, and love chewing budogg bones early in the morning.

Ah, look at that budogg over there. He looks like a nice guy!
