AAE

An initialism for "African American English", also called AAVE, or Black English, and Black Vernacular English.
Formerly known outside of the academic and sociolinguistic setting as "Ebonics" (a term since co-opted by racist movements), AAE is a pidgin dialect inspired by West African linguistics among other linguistic phenomena, or "language stuff".
