Actavis in its most literal sense is a pharmaceutical company owned by Teva Pharmaceuticals. Actavis is a term commonly used to refer to a syrupy mixture of Codeine and Promethazine that is supplied by Actavis Pharmaceuticals. This syrup is often mixed with soda and hard candies, colloquially known as "Lean", to create a palatable opiate-infused beverage that can be consumed recreationally for its calming and sedating effects
