Oscillating Potcham Effect

Often likened to Karma, this is the rare linking of two peoples fortunes (or karma) so that when one is up, the other is down. Often in context of sexual exploits or progress with the opposite sex. Often refered to as the OP Effect.

Verb: to gooch - to emulate ones peers in a feeble attempt to further ones social standing
