A.I.T.L.

An acronym for "Acknowledged Industry Thought Leader," referring to an authoritative figure in a specified industry, field or subject (e.g., mobile analytics, hip-hop music, geopolitical development, etc.) whose remarks on said field's subject matter have objectively substantial impact on the development of same.

"Jobs, Dell, Weinberg, Gandhi, Obama, West -- these men are or were A.I.T.L.'s in their respective worlds, modifying and improving mankind's understanding of why we think the way we think about computer design, mobile analytic sciences, peace, politics, and music in the 20th Century and beyond."
