soft skulled

Somebody who wants to be intellectually valid in a conversation but has a heavy bias which prevents them from seeing the bigger picture of a topic. This makes them unable to prove valid points, hardly ever making any sense in a political or philosophical debate.

"There was a soft skulled libertarian the other day trying to tell me if there was no taxes McDonald's would fix the potholes in front of their restaurant.
