Flapping it is dialect originally from Manchester. It basically means being a chicken. It's usually used in arguments and fights.

"So we gonna fight or not!?"

"Oi he's flapping it!"

Solid is a term for someone who acts very tough and usually hangs around with people who do drugs when he/she doesn't themselves.
