Merva is one of the holy mountains within Saudi Arabia (the other is Safa ). The reason that this mountain is so holy, is because it is at the site where a Muslim (who is physically and financially proper), is required to perform pilgrimage, also called Hajj in Arabic. Thus, Merva is also used as a common Muslim Girl's Name
"We need to walk seven times within the holy and beautiful mountains of Merva and Safa in order to complete our Hajj.
