A term of endearment for someone who moved away from Louisiana but still cherishes a good crawfish boil. They might not be able to tell a pirogue from a kayak, but they sure know how to suck the heads and peel like a champ. They probably keep a stash of Tony Chachere's in their pantry for emergencies, ya know, like if they gotta boil some sad excuse for crawfish up north. Bless their hearts.
"Man, I gotta get me some crawfish down at the crawfish shack this weekend. Even Earl, that crawfish-lovin' neighbor of mine, is gettin' restless. He might not be from down here originally, but that fella's a true Crawcasian at heart. Always askin' me for boil tips and wearin' his LSU hat way too much in this Yankee weather."
