Shoe-eating 

Shoe-eating is a modern term for putting your foot in your mouth. This phrase was used primarily by Californian high schoolers but recently it has been becoming more widespread through west coast high schools.

Guy 1: i accidentally submitted my math homework to my history teacher.
Guy 2: What are you, shoe-eating?
