stiff blanket

A useless person who has no input to the group. They are awkward, a little bit moist and could also be described as a wet weekend. They are about as useful as a stiff blanket. No one wants a stiff blanket.

Friend: Have you met Barry?
Me: Nah, but I’ve heard he’s a stiff blanket.
