Upscale derives from the act of 'upscaling', which means to enhance an image or video, usually done through AI. To Upscale something is to add details to an object, situation, etc, that weren't there before.

Person A: "I don't remember spending 10.000 money on 'Profit'."
Person B: "Oh, I upscaled the business expenses to please the investors."
