illuminatia
n. Conjunction of illuminati and dementia. A group of individuals sharing the "enlightenment" of a common delusion, such as an elaborate conspiracy theory not rooted in fact, reality, or history.
Conspiracy theorists, a.k.a. The Illuminatia, live in a hall-of-mirrors world where facts are merely fabrications put there to deceive us, and nothing is as it seems. In this world, feelings are more trustworthy, especially when supported by alternative facts (narratives).
