A commitment to overturn an election, or make it more difficult for certain constituencies to vote, when the election doesn't go the way you planned.

The Democrats clearly stole that election! That's the only way we could have lost! We need candidates who will stand up for election integrity.

A mass outbreak of sanctimony and fake outrage, over a celebrity's indiscretions, real or imagined.

Bob: Hey, have you been checking out of the coverage of Tiger Woods?

Jeff: No, it's ridiculous. The media coverage is just one big sanctimorgy.

In professional wrestling, when a heel (bad guy) wrestler does a segment or speech displaying his villainy, drawing heat from the crowd.

"Did you see that? Randy Orton just cut a heel promo, hyping his match for the pay-per-view."
