Double Shovel

To carry out work that will have to be repeated/undone at a later date.

This term originated in the mining industry where workers would unintentionally block their entrance and therefore have to move the soil for a second time in order to exit.
Example 1:

Don't leave that there or you will have to double shovel it.

Example 2:

I had to double shovel that because I didn't think it through.
