Ragebait

A nonsense internet term created by terminally online zoomers. It used to have a space between "rage" and "bait", but for whatever reason, they removed it.

To put it simply, "ragebait" is the act of trying to anger somebody through your words or actions, whether it would be for your own entertainment or satisfaction. This is mostly done over the internet, because the people who partake in ragebait are basement-dwelling cowards who hide behind computer screens.

Successfully ragebaiting someone doesn't do shit, but said basement-dwellers act as if it makes you smarter than the other person (which it fucking doesn't).

Person A: "Undertale is overrated as fuck. The game looks like shit, and the idea of 'making your own choices' has already been done to death before."

Person B: "2/10 ragebait. Try harder."

To put it simply, ragebait is the act of saying or doing something with the pure intent of angering others, whether it would be for your own entertainment or seeking attention. This is mostly done over social media, because the ragebaiters themselves are pussies who hide behind screens.

Person A: "Undertale is overrated af. The game looks like shit and the idea of 'making your own choices' has already been done way before, this is nothing new."
