Someone who is a POG and tries explaining to a non POG how dangerous the military is while training or in combat, but holds an MOS that does not warrant being in actual warfare training or combat.
This guy was POGsplaining to me how dangerous fording a river is, knowing full well I was in the Infantry.

It’s like hearsay, but is very foreshadowing and truthful, except for the inaccuracies you’ll never know until you discover them.
