The Tate Mountain's definitions
Japanese derogatory slang term for a man preforming fellatio in return for compensation. From the Japanese "ダーティー佐藤”. It originally came into common usage in the mid 1990's. At that time it referred to middle age men who would hang out in Ueno Park, Tokyo offering their services. This was commonly done part time on the weekends to supplement their income and afford the cost of living in Tokyo during the horrible recession that hit the country starting in 1990. It is commonly believed the Yakuza were involved, either directly or indirectly through the drug trade. Named after a Junior High School teacher who made national headlines in 1993 when he was arrested for prostitution, bringing the issue to the attention of the country.
