The DPM's definitions
Dnyanesh is the short version of the word 'Dnyaneshwar'. Saint Dnyaneshwar had been a great Indian Marathi philosopher in 13th Century. Dnyaneshwar literally means God of Knowledge. Saint Dnyaneshwar was the pioneer of Maharashtra's 'Sant Parampara' or Saint Lineage. He translated and dictated the Bhagwad Geeta into Marathi by the name Bhavarth Deepika or Dnyaneshwari at the age of 16.
Saint Dnyaneshwar took Samadhi (councios choice of death) at the age 21.
