Corporate edging

The management style traditionally associated with senior leadership in a private equity owned business. The practice of pushing a team as close to absolute breaking point as possible, before pulling back just before everything falls apart, only to repeat the process once everyone has briefly recovered.
“Management have put us on another impossible deadline, removed half the team and told us there’s no more budget — classic corporate edging.”
