Snow hype

When a strong cold front approaches an area that is otherwise mild during the winter and the forecast calls for snow. The community becomes extremely ecstatic over this possibility, no matter how far ahead this forecast is.

Dude, I am so tired of this snow hype. What if it doesn't even snow at all?
