To “Dylan” is to fully commit to something then at the last second, then give an excuse for why you can’t make it.
Friend 1: “Yo, is Josh coming to the concert?”
Friend 2: “Nah, he says he can’t make it, something came up last second. I knew he’d Dylan out.”
Friend 1: “Is Chad going at least?”
Friend 2: “ He also Dylan’d out.”
