Brothers-in-Law related by marriage. Specifically men married to sisters related by blood, sisters of the same set of parents.

The usage signifies the ties of family or brotherhood via marriage, perhaps a reflection of the remains the matriarchal society prevalent in Southern India in pre-history.

Brandon is my co-brother, his wife Tammy is my wife's sister.
