A chinfanny is a small v shaped beardlet emanating from the bottom lip towards the chin. The shape of the chinfanny can vary from the traditional triangle to a thin strip, more commonly known as the Brazilian chinfanny, or the wider version which is known as the Zappatista chinfanny.
From the Verve song "Oh, it's a bitter sweet chinfanny, that's rife" which was written about the number of middle aged men who now insist on growing this nonsensical facial hair in an attempt to look distinguished.
