This word originates from the legendary Reddit user u/AmbassadorRoutine635 with the initial intent of serving as a remark of closure without meaning on its own to imitate fellow Reddit user u/ApplePitou. Since then, the meaning of this word has been questioned across the fanbase of Kagurabachi as the initial user was nearly forgotten, with u/al_fletcher headcannoning it to mean "consisting of the characters for "heavenly monarch, "天皇", and the characters for a rank or position, "位". This roughly translates to "the Emperor's rank", which could be seen as meaning peak". Pronunciation can be interpreted as either "ten-wa" or "te-noi"
