According to Wikipedia, Asal may refer to a village in west central Yemen, the King of the Golden Pillars in Irish mythology, or a Portuguese wine grape, but perhaps best known for its association with a woman who is such a paragon of beauty that she attracts to herself a large male fan club, who witlessly heap praise upon her looks, even as she would often rather be recognized for her kindness or sense of humor.
Asal's inaccessibility makes me melancholy.
