IPR 

An Intimate Platonic Relationship. Someone you can be very physically close to including through cuddles, spooning, massages, etc, but in a non-sexual context. A level of friendship only achieved by very close friends.

Jason is really single, so he has to rely on his IPR's for that physical human connection from time to time.
