A buttsnag refers to anything that sucks and prevents you from enjoying the fullness of a moment, gets in the way of productivity or negatively effects you.

For example, your computer crashing is a major #butsnag.

Dan could be a real buttsnag of a boss, always sipping from the jagger he kept in his desk and raging randomly at his employees.
