A person with an unnatural gift of 'stringing' someone else along with a story or tale that appears to be reasonable and likely and then delivering the punchline which undoubtedly results in the recipient looking and feeling like a bit of a twat!

That Cookster just made me totally believe that he had conquered Everest wearing only his pants!
