Yea, Oscar's reason for being a grouch was that he lived in a trash can, but what's his/her real reason for being intentionally unpleasant? Rejection isn't physically painful the way that being tortured is, so that's not a real reason.

Torture
Torture is physically being tortured by various methods. Emotional torture and fucking with somebody's head (psychological) is not true torture.
The guys who were put on the rack in the middle ages would find the claims of emotional torture(calling it a living hell) by people nowadays to be silly.

Dork girl
A female that was a dork growing up, then after a certain age people for some reason lose interest in calling her a dork.
Now that people lost interest (got bored with) in calling the dork girl a dork, she grows the balls to start calling other people dorks at work.

Dork girl
A girl that has a bunch of females put on hard hats when females start getting called out at office jobs for being dorks, thinking that hard hats make people look hard.
The dork girl wanted to see more females in hard hats and more males in sequins or aprons, since she thought that feminine males were better males than other males, better human beings.

Autograph
As much as some teenage girls want to take credit for being the one to make someone's life hell, a guy signing autographs is not going through a living hell, because he's not having his fingernails or toenails pulled off one by one, or being taken back to the middle ages with various torture devices (true living hell). Wasted time (autographs) and waiting somewhere longer than you should while things move slowly is all purgatory. Get your realms and their definitions straight before you start trying to tell other people about telling shit straight.
The guy signing autographs was certainly in living purgatory, but their wasn't enough actual physical pain to call it anything close to living he'll. Corporal punishment is closer to the realm of living hell (as a mind state or otherwise), and actual torture (not psychological or watching a traumatic movie about it) is closer to true living hell, if there is such a thing. Most of the people who say they made this or that person's life hell are really just pretentious frauds.

Tattoo
Tattoos might have indicated a person's toughness in the past, but those days are long gone. Nowadays, so many people get tattoos that they don't indicate anything. Pussies get tattoos like many other people do these days. You got people nowadays who get tattoos just to look tough or to look like somebody they know, or to look like a bunch of other people with the same tattoo.
He/she got a tattoo(s) to try and get more respect than they did as a kid, back when he/she was a fuckin dork.
