Sturf

Verb. To sulk, with a deeply furrowed brow and an exaggerated pouty frown, much as a young child does in order to express displeasure in the hope that a perceived injustice will be righted. (Origin unknown, used in Cavan, Ireland, late 20th Century, possibly local dialect, possibly onomatopoeic)
"Ah, come on now, Fergus, stop your sturfing and finish your Tapioca pudding."
