The use of ones own hands to catch vomit whilst rushing to a more suitable vestibule.

I got the wet mouth but was upstairs. As I rushed to the toilet I had to bund some of the first wave so as to not soil the carpet. The volume of ones hands is directly proportional to the bunding required for a single spew.
