(Verb) When you wait until your significant other is too busy/overwhelmed/tired to workout, and then you get in shape without them. You diet, loose weight, & get fit while they stay the same. Derived from the show This Is Us (season 4), when Toby begins working out daily as his wife Kate cares for their premature, blind baby.
My girlfriend only ate mac & cheese when she was cramming for her finals, so I tobyed her — went keto, started going to cross fit, and lost 10 pounds.
